Alexis Anaci is an artist and researcher whose work moves between the photographic, sculptural, and textual. Her practice investigates how identities are shaped, imagined, and sensed, particularly through methods that blur personal reflection with theoretical and material inquiry. Often working at the intersection of contemporary art and psychological exploration, Alexis is drawn to the subtle spaces between perception and interpretation, between what is shown and what is felt.

Guided by a dual commitment to artistic experimentation and psychological inquiry, her work embraces ambiguity, leaning into moments that resist resolution: a gesture half-formed, a thought not fully grasped. Drawing from frameworks of the mind and the image, she explores what lies just beneath awareness—the unspoken, the half-seen, the misremembered. Her practice navigates the space between introspection and communication, questioning how we make our selves visible to ourselves, and to others.
